"Wow, what a great change" exclaim enthusiasts following the "excellent redo" of this South Side hotel, from "attractive rooms" to "great amenities" that include an exercise room, indoor pool, hot tub, business center and free Internet connections and parking; detractors dis it all as "tepid at best" (even the sometimes "frigid" pool), but admit it's partially because they "don't like" the "industrial" feel of this part of town.

We enjoyed the sleep number bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We did not like being so far down the hall away from everything.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. I would stay in this hotel again.

They had sleep number beds which gave us the some of the most comfortable sleep we had on our trip.

This hotel was sophisticated without being overwhelming, and yet they accept pets. We appreciate that and in return try to leave our room with absolutely no evidence of a pet having been there.
